xbox controller doesn't work

My xbox controller doesn't work, it only has the keyboard and mouse option

I've already tested the xbox wired controller
and wireless both the game does not recognize.

only by keyboard and mouse.

You have to tell the game to use gamepad in settings

same issue here, only option showing is keyboard/mouse even with controller connected. should be automatic independent if it "senses" it or not like most UE games/the first hellblade worked fine but this controller support is definitely not full/the same as the first in my opinion in terms of compatibility. Full controller support does not need to "detect" controllers to work properly (such as the invincible, Alone In the Dark, Indika for example which works without having to have a controller plugged in). I can tell the xinput was mis-implemented outside of normal UnrealEngine standards/not widely compatible as most modern AAA Games.
