Why buy it on Steam?
Why should you buy the game on Steam if the same game is on Game pass which costs a small fraction of the amount (and surely you don't need longer than a month to complete the game)?

I ask this because I want it on Steam lol and I cannot understand if it's fanboysm or not. The game is also not cheap.

Why I want it on steam:

- seamless steam input integration (not saying it wouldn't be possible in the game pass version added as non steam game)
- screenshots saved properly to the game in the library and not to a "fake" game which I would add if I played the gamepass version
- you have it in your library and don't borrow from a time limited monthly plan

I don't really find any other reasons so I was thinking others who got it on Steam, what made you decide to get it on Steam instead of just playing it through game pass?

To add something:

- I don't have Microsoft gamepass (pretty much never had it) so I would have to subscribe to it anyway if I wanted to play the game without getting it on Steam
- I know I will love the game, I liked the first in any case and I am replaying it now so there is not a risk of getting something I will regret getting

I mean the biggest reason is a largest proportion of your money will go directly to the studio if you buy it on steam. Also I'd much rather have the game in my steam library and get steam achievements for it.

Same here! You cannot really tell how much money ends up with Ninja Theory in game pass.
Also: I might be oldschool on this one, but I generally do not like game pass. A monthly fee for playing selected games, where I am tied to selected games, which can be changed at any point - Not with me.

I purchased it on Gamesplanet therefore it was a Xbox Store key
For such a game Gamepass is perfect (very short and small replay value…and even if you replay it this is the cost of 5 months) but I dunno why I wanted to purchase it and did not regret it even if it’s overpriced to make us subscribe to GP
