Report a translation problem
1. Close Massive Chalice and Steam, if they're open.
2. Open ~/Library/Application Support/Doublefine/MASSIVE CHALICE/
(Open a Finder window and click "Go > Go to Folder..." in the menu, then copy and paste the line above.)
In that folder you'll find some .sav files and then a folder with numbers. You might want to copy and paste the whole folder somewhere as a backup at this point :-\
If there isn't a folder with numbers, you might need to go into the game, create a new save game, then quit.
3. Copy the the .sav files that are in the base folder into the folder with numbers, overwriting files that might be there (if any).
4. Open Steam / Massive Chalice. Hopefully your saves might be back :)
My uninformed theory is that I might have quit Steam before my save files were synced, or opened Massive Chalice through the application shortcut instead of through Steam and gotten it confused.
