Mark of Baard - what does it mean?

Hey there!

During the "The Mark" random event one of the babies got the "Mark of Baard" status.
The description says "A mark of impending doom".
Anybody knows what this might mean down the line?

I am taking a wild guess that this means they will die at a younger age, or might take more damage randomly in battle

To me it sounds like something more serious...maybe all your heroes die or something. I kept the save...will play it out later.
