Illogical and Unfair Pricing and the Right of Consumers

I don't know whether the developer and publisher of this game ever doing market research or not before deciding the price, for a game that doesn't have any localization it's set another record even higher than overrated Game of Fate 2 which has localization.

Did the developers and the publisher doesn't now that the world is facing declining purchasing power because of the pandemic, geopolitical situation and local issues by each country facing, are they think people money only to buy games ?

Again Love is All Around price is the best price for FMV game that mostly affordable for current economic conditions considering it's has localization and maybe the one with the most localization support.

I don't understand why the developer and publisher of this game is optimistic in setting the price that almost twice the price of Love is All Around in many countries, are they confident their products is better than Love is All Around? Or they are just greedy people that only cares about money like Game of Fate developer?

I won't support this greedy developer until they set the realistic and affordable price for people around the world.
I believe that they are still a lot more considerate and caring developer and publisher that will doing market research before setting the right place for their product.

All because unfair and Injustice pricing, thank you and I am looking forward to add more in to the list, because I believe everyone around the world has equal rights to purchase the game on their affordable price.

The developers and publisher shall stop being selfish and consider economic conditions before setting their price not to mention that most developers no longer maintenance their game after several months which make consumers that has purchased their products has to accept the product as it is without any possibilities for bugs and error to be fixed anymore such as Only You, Reverse 21 Grams and Tomorrow's Love Puzzle.

Also regional pricing should be set based on each regions economic power to ensure equality for consumers not based on developer preference and all the game listed above using unfair regional pricing.

I hope Steam will pay attention to this as the refund is not a good solution anymore especially for user that finds the bug/error in the later chapter of the game which they has passed the limit of 2 hours to refund the game.

This games price for me not bad unlike Game of fate series, price for this game is around $9, most Chinese FMV games are price around $3-$7 but Game of fate series is priced very high so I skipped it as well.
I will buy this game after it get an English version, to be fair when I checked price for this game for almost all regions are same but that is not the case for game of fate series the price for those two games for my region is double the price of China & Taiwan on steam. AAA games are priced very bad recently only Silent Hill 2 & Space marine 2 followed regional pricing rest charges double the price.
If the price is good I will buy day 1 else will skip even on sale is what I do now.

Problem is this game game is quite short compared two other FMV which 2 perspective but only 3 chapters each, therefore the price still a bit high for me...

As I mentioned before the low price for China region because the largest market is China with approx 80% therefore the price set the lowest to ensure good sales numbers in China.

I did the same too, if the price vs product value is acceptable then I get it on first phase sale, the rest I will wait till it dropped or if based on gameplay I consider the game is not good then I won't buy at all.

This game is priced at a base price of USD $10 (without discount) for all regions, with almost no adjustment for different regions. For wealthier regions, it may not be expensive, but for poorer regions, it will be expensive. For this, it is still considered unfair pricing.

For GOF, GOF2, and HL18, these games are priced high in all regions except for China, HK, and Taiwan. As far as I know, this is unfair regional pricing and may have violated Steam's regional pricing guideline. If someone reports this to Steam, the developer may have to adjust the price, or there may be further consequences.

It's not just about the region price only, even in China the price is considered expensive at almost 60 RMB while most FMV game in China priced at 40-50 RMB and more over the game play duration is too short (three chapters) compared to other game, not feature known actor/actress and it don't have any subtitles.

In short, the price is too high in all countries without any exepction for a FMV game that doesn't come from AAA studios, doesn't have any subtitles, known actors / actress and have short duration.

And with current economic recession around the world it's become more unacceptable.
