For FMV games, the length is about 6-10 hours, and the price should be ¥42, ₩110,000, Rp 90,999, €9.75, USD 10, S$10, ฿220, £8.50, etc., or below. It is unreasonable and expensive to buy an FMV game priced higher than this, regardless of the development cost or much longer length. If the development cost is high, it should attract more people to buy it and earn over USD 10 million, like Love is All Around.
It is up to the developer to decide whether they want their game to be on the whitelist (same as or below Love is All Around price) or the blacklist. I will prioritize purchasing games on the whitelist, while games on the blacklist will not be bought unless they go on a 50%-75% discount. I will also remove games on the blacklist from my wishlist.
If FMV games continue to raise prices or set unreasonable regional pricing, I would rather play other games than FMVs. This will push FMVs back to the market before Love is All Around even existed.
