I had this morning my gift copy of Hack n' Slash. I think its due to the fact that im an early acess buyer of SpaceBase DF-9 here on steam . I dont see any other reason . nonetheless im grateful to you guys at Double Fine.
"anyone who already owns the game gets a free copy of Hack ‘n’ Slash"
Personally I don't think it would be smart for Double Fine to start dictating special conditions of ownership.
edit: Also personally, I don't care about Hack n' Slash so whatever. It looks like a typical DF game. Good ideas, horrible execution. Keep my copy, DF. Give it someone else.
Side note: Although I'm disappointed that development has halted on SB, I'm not all that peeved at the result. Yeah, a few more things would be nice, but game development has gone downhill in general for most games over the last 10 years. Once the bugs are all worked out with SB as it is I'll be a content space camper.
