it's not an alpha, it's not a supported product.
abandonware, but sold on steam.
if you just bought it, try to get a refund, this mess will never be fixed.

There will be no more patches to the game. The entire development team has been laid off and there's nobody at Double Fine who knows anything about this game anymore.

Dude, games been abadoned. Despite the offical thread that says this is in Alpha, Doublefine consider this to be a finished product. If you have just bought the game get it refunded
