Demo Feedback!
Hi, just played the demo and wanted to leave some feedback!

I love the feel of the balls and the variety of balls/cards you can get! Even basic stuff like the fly card moving around on and the grenade actually going off after a bit feels very fresh!

I do think you could remove a 0 from almost every number and the game would feel a bit better, more grounded in the values and make getting bigger numbers feel more meaningful. Also probably lower the enemy damage somewhat afterwards as them doing usually 10%+ of your health each per turn is very punishing especially when guarding is 2x factors of random (draw and pegs).

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the game! :starite:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like the different cards :). Originally, it started as Apple dealing 1, but it was strange when the shield gained 0.2 and there were a lot of decimals. However, the exact values will be fine-tuned as we approach v1.0. I'm working on status effects to make the combat more intricate. So, balancing will definitely be a focus as we move forward.
