That’s kind of my point though, I love the strategy in this game, and how towers synergize, but if there’s an option where you can just dump all your funds into a single money pit, and win, that kind of defeats the purpose.
In the next update, there’s going to be a cap on the total value of towers you can feed into each scrap tank (300 by default, and you can upgrade it to 500 if you want to focus more resource on it). So you can still build a powerful tank, but it’ll cost you a bit more, and you won’t be able to dump all your money into it.
Also, by weakening it so much, it has become virtually impossible to get through wave 25 in endless mode.
Excited for this change, and making specialized scrap towers, with the new much lower limit, have you considered making the upgrades exponential?
I was super excited my first use because it kept saying I would get a %20 increase to firerate, but it was always based off the base fire rate, and not exponential like I had initially assumed.
It def would have been super OP with limitless upgrades, but now with a finite amount of buffs it can take, rewarding stat specialization with exponential growth would be neat
