How to correctly use the frost flame

I have just unlocked the frost flame, but except for the chill effect it gives to the front mob, I don't see how it can be better than other flames, specifically as it freezes every block around it in a single turn.
Am I missing something ?
Otherwise, it feels more like a "challenge" flame that adds to the difficulty (especially on maps without freezing such as forest or desert), which in itself is not so bad.

haven't try it yet but it seems to work well with aoe spam, since the mops are always front heavy with this.

as soon as i can beat the frost ruins on normal i can give it a try 😅

the freeze effect can be good. You also can use the "unlock" ability to reverse the freeze on one block per round

Yeah I'm scratching my head over this one wondering if I misunderstood it. Does not seem like it.

really strong with "black ice" "ring of shattered ice" relic. and incredible with icespike tower. or just use "ice storm" relic and u basicly got ur flame being a very strong slow support. u gotta work around the frost every round but otherwise its a very strong flame i always use
