There is one thing...

... that only slightly bothers me about the expansive marketing of this franchise with video games, anime, etc. (Which, considering it's a good story, I totally understand why.)

It's that for a story about a NEET trying to actually try his best in this sort of second chance (despite plenty of things in the new world making that a lot more difficult than usual), they sure are making it easy for people to want to stay in their room and watch anime, read light novels, and play video games all day.

In all seriousness though, the novels were interesting and mostly uplifting, despite rather brutal moments; so if anyone is having trouble finding courage to face the real world, I hope the story does help them, rather than just provide an excuse to stay inside. Do not give up on yourself or your future, and keep trying to do what is best for you and the people you love.
