You can find this in your game setup section.
Thanks! I forgot to mention this. You choose which games to follow, so that you're not flooded with any you don't want. I have my ticker going non-stop, but we tested various settings.
However, if anyone finds a case where non-stop works, but a given time (like 2:00) doesn't, please let me know.
But thanks, wilsonjeff! I'll add that note to the forum, great catch!
Me, too! (hangs head in shame)
Guys, let me know if you'd like something like a confirmation dialog when you skip the Studio or something.
I have another idea that may be even better, let me think about this. What if I give a few more options for both the text and the background color:
- use home team's primary color
- use visiting team's primary color
Eventually, maybe I let you select a team and use its primary color regardless of who's playing, but that's a bit of UI work. Or I let you select any custom color (I don't have time for that at this time, but that might be good for next year?)
Let me think of the best way to do this.
thanks!
Yeah, I knew we'd learn things this year! I can do a few things next year, but have to be careful to not over-complicate it.
For example, one option is "always use the home team's colors" but I'm not sure people would like that in general, right?
However, another option is to let you actually use a "color table" (like I have in the editor) to set the background color and the text color, and it would stay those values regardless of who's playing (so, you might want to always have a black background with the Cincinnati orange text, right?)
Hmmm, I could actually provide both. A checkbox "always use home team's colors" and if that's on, the custom colors are disabled, but if you turn that off, then you can set the custom colors.
How's that sound? I think that works great?
BTW, I looked up the Cincinnati RGB values, and it's almost red when I used that in a test. Is that right?
This year, you can overwrite what's in default, and that way, every league that uses the default folder will use your sounds with no other work on your part! Good luck, let me know how it goes!
Well, I have tried using your suggestions to change the audio files (copying the PSF 2023 Audio Files and pasting them over the PSF 2024 originals), but unfortunately they haven't changed.
Maybe I need to add them in a separate file and then change them via the Settings. Or is there another suggestion on how to make this work?
