Local co-op in Steam EA?

Will the game support local co-op on Steam in EA? I'm interested in the game, but only if it supports couch co-op. I figure on Xbox this is probably going to be achieved by using a separate game profile, but for a lot of these GaaS games they skip Steam local co-op due to the complexity of having multiple accounts on Steam.

Local couch co-op on Steam is not currently supported for Early Access. We are working on support for it in the future, but no ETA to share at this time!

Nowadays I skip games that don't have local co-op. Playing mainly on couch with controller.

Great to hear that the developer is at least considering it. Will keep an eye on this.

Too bad given that it appears to be a core feature in the promotional footage, and it's probably the main reason I'd want to pick up this game. Once the feature is in, we'll give EA a try. Until then, I'll have to pass on Towerborne.

Remember - there is a metric ton of live service games out there. Not a lot of good couch coop titles for the PC.
