How do i play with others?

I see a lot of people on the minimap on the first level but i'm constantly alone. I want to play with others moreso than alone.

I also want to know! How can there be matchmaking for seemingly everything except playing with others? Is it unlocked later? Surely it must be in the game...

I see, but level 1 is also matchmaking but there's no one there. Surely any level is playable with others? Would be very weird if not lol.

For anyone wondering, i got contact with 2 devs and appearently its a bug and they are working on a fix right now.

Matchmaking only succeeded for me 1 time with 2 others after 3 hours of play. Definitely something buggy going on. Unless you start the mission at relatively the same time it doesn't look like its working until they get it patched.

I was wondering about that as well. Glad to hear the devs are on top of it.

On controller you hit select and you'll see a "social" tab where you can invite your friends to your party.

On keyboard you press Tab and go to the social menu and do the same. Find the friend you wanna invite and just hit invite.

Also when you go to start certain missions with bosses you can ask to search for players instead of going in solo.

Matchmaking is only for ventures right now, not discovery missions. (But you make a group to do discovery missions with)
