Can I play this to "watch" the anime with it?

I stopped where they rushed into Kaidos Place and they cosplayed as these bad bois but then Luffy started to go crazy and Zorro joined him and then the music dude started attacking them and that where I stopped because i wanted to watch the whole arc in one go. So yeah, can i play the game and get enough information about it to skip the anime?...

Is there online story mode co-op in this game?

What does this game have as options for online co-op? My son likes it, he lives with his mother. Can we play the story mode together online? Or can we only Pvp? (when I look at the tags in the steam store, it only shows "single player" and "PvP".

Super fun game with lots of combos and more content that I thought.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH USING A CONTROLLER this is what you should do. Steam>Library>One Piece>"View controller settings" (located in a little tab on the right side about mid page with the tittle CONTROLLER)>"Enable steam input".
Should fix your problem as long as your controller is recognized by Steam.
