Gorilla Bug

Everytime the mutant kills pepper the gorilla the mutant disappears and doesn't come back until i close the game. Then same thing, it kills pepper while I get the cure to save it and it disappears etc. I can't even play/continue the game :(

Have you tried using the lethal injection? I saw a playthrough trying to cure the mutant but it didn’t work for them

When it kills Pepper the mutant creature will be sated and no longer hungry. It will unmutate but still be infected. You can either kill the ape you think is infected with the parasite or you can create a cure for the parasite. The infected animal will be healthy and mimic the same disease as the other sick animals. Its not a bug. The game just throws you in and you have to figure out how to deal with the mutants on your own. I had the same issue and thought originally.

Well why do you basically go blind in the gorilla enclosure? I'm so confused as to why that happens to me? Especially when it's during the time the mutant spawns. It's annoying and my gorillas die. Well, 2 do at least. And then I rage quit lol

Is it that it disappears, or that it goes to sleep on top of the highest cave? I thought it vanished too, turns out it just goes to sleep still mutated on the second highest cave where they usually sleep inside. You can't reach it on foot, but you can still shoot it with the gun.
