How to "Handle the Mutant Gorilla"?
shooting this mf with the medicine indicated and the health bar just isn't going down. Confused. Can't progress with the game until I do something that's entirely unexplained or bugged?

You can either shoot it three times with a lethal injection, or shoot it three times with the appropriate "parasite" medicine that's mentioned in those PDA's you find. It usually has the parasite mimicking the same disease within the other animals in the pen. If you want a clue to who's going to turn, one animal will have the visual elements (like scars, or throwing up), but not any of the tested symptoms (like blood and temperature tests).

As for fending it off, if you need to get blood for the diagnosis or whatever, shooting it with a tranquilizer will make it go to sleep for a minute. If you put the infected food into the trough for them and they eat it after waking up, they morph back until you annoy them again.

This isn't super clearly explained, just a small issue on the pile. I enjoy the game, but hope to see it updated sometime to fix some of the issues, because it's pretty close to a decent game.

Not necessarily, they can be cured. Otherwise half the endings/achievements wouldn't be possible. I wish they explained this more, bc there's alot of stuff to this game that just isn't told to you and you just kinda have to figure out with limited resources.

Gorilla dead and the task still isn't marked as complete. What's with this game

If you mean save the gorilla, it’s possible the mutant killed a gorilla, it can do that if left awake and mutated for too long. My strategy was to shoot it with a tranq, hit it with the fetalis shot, then tranq again whenever it charged me or stopped and keep doing this until all three hearts get lit up with green. Then it should just morph back and cough up the parasite.

I still don't understand, if I shoot him with a tranq he just go out of reach before sleeping for a minute... not sure I understand how to "cure" them (just missing the blood for the mimic version).

Pretty sure you can get blood from the other Gorilla and it counts when making the 'cure'. Just need to tranq them and snag samples.

i figured it out, you have to use the injection for the virus its mimicking, in this case rotavirus

You must shoot the correct medicine 3 times into the animal if it is mutated. If it's normal, pretty sure it's just once.

see this is what i thought, but i just had a gorilla which was cureable with enterocure, but then when shooting the mutant with the matching mutant cure, it did nothing, and without a guide on how to identify which disease the mutant is mimicking, this feels almost impossible, unless im once again softlocked on the 3rd enclosure and unable to proceed
