[SPOILERS] Looks promising, but the starting story is very rough
I was not impressed with the start of the game.
- Slow walking while everyone accuses me of being the cause of the crash? How could I have been?
- The random voice over as I was slow walking was hard to understand
- The weird reading of my journal and asking me to respond to random passages when I have no idea what he is talking about
- Some passages I can say it wasn't my journal, others I had to answer like it was. Do the choices matter?

All in all it was a jumbled mess that made it hard to follow and even harder to care about. Did my decisions to help or reject people matter? Why was I accused of the accident? Did I actually do the things in my journal? The judge seemed like a 100% evil villain, way overdone for talking to me alone ..

Yeah, I put some feedback to the devs that the start of the game is too confusing and slow. Once you get to the main area it picks up big time

What you are talking about is not really the start...
Keep playing.

Its literally the start. lol .. I know what you are saying .. there is an art to story telling where you can pull these things off in a book. But reading is MUCH faster than a slow 30 min slog trying to figure things out. The introduction to the game was a big turn off and did not 'hook me' like it should

it's just a glance of the futur, kind of a dream.

Hi, Hawthorn, thank you for your feedback. Would you mind clarifying one thing for me: you mentioned that you walked slowly throughout the introduction, but this should not be the case. Prior to entering the first portal, there is a medical automaton that can heal you and let you move normally. I guess you missed it?

The medical automaton? The one with the nurse nearby? I tried to click on it but it was not working, or did I fail a skill check. I failed a few in that early prologue.

Yes, the one next to the nurse. You are able to interact with it, one of the options is to get healed using it. There are no skill checks required. This automaton is there specifically to heal the player, regardless of conditions or stats.

Couldn't get it to work. So either I did something wrong or the pixel to activate it was off target. Sometimes it does seem rather inaccurate trying to hit the correct spot to get things to work.
I will pay more attention next time.

Thats weird because I still got a still check for it and even got the achievement for it.

I don't remember, but tbh, maybe it is because so early in the game we are not familiar enough with the very slow mouse wheel to scroll down to see al the options.

Thank you for your input, guys. The automaton always caused problems for some players, even during playtests. To make it more obvious for players, we moved it around, made it bigger and more noticeable, made the nurse mention it, and did everything we could at the moment to make sure players saw it. Apparently it was not enough, we will come up with a solution.

I have just tried you can excamine the droid and heal it but it's not working.
(healing a droid is weird.)

Are you sure it doesn't work? Just tried it myself and was able to heal just fine, after that the character stopped limping and started moving normally. You need to select the following interaction menu items after clicking on Droid:

- Click Examine
- Click Use it for basic medical care

For avoidance of doubt, there are 2 droids lying around that you can interact with, but only one provides the interaction menu. You need the one that is right in front of the portal.

Hope this helps. If not, I will ask you for a save file. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

it worked fine for me

it is the droid next to the nurse

For anyone having trouble: Right now it seems that simply saving and reloading takes away the slow walking debuff.
I´m sure that´s not intentional, but a very handy workaround
