This worked thanks
As I know, there is a big city there and something needs to be done about this in terms of optimization, since constant long loading times when entering and exiting locations in a big city are annoying.
List of smaller annoyances:
- Don't make the load, save and delete buttons next to each other, this is a bad decision.
- Inventory, why is it different for each group member? With such an interface, a common one is more convenient.
- Inventory sorting is a must, you can even add tabs at the top for quick sorting by item class.
- The meaning of the dice in the weapon characteristics is unclear 6 + 1d4 is the same as 7-10 damage (or 8 + 1d10 is 9-18), so it is much clearer to compare different types of weapons.
- It would be nice to leave standard response options in dialogues if the response with the characteristics check (persuasion, for example) did not pass. And not end everything with a complete failure.
- Why are the portraits of the main character already created, can't we use the face that the player creates? Otherwise, what's the point of fine-tuning the face if it's not visible?
- Your choice, but racial diversity is not observed. We have tall, short and long-eared human. There is no sense of other non-human races.
- Some other errors have already been discussed above in the topic.
The game has good potential but it needs some improvement. I hope for you.
Not enough memory error, could be GPU memory. Or some other memory, I did note that at about that point in the game the RAM usage shot up over 16 GB, so if people only have 16 GB, then they would be needing paging file memory, which may or may not cause issues but would quite likely cause a slowdown.
It works, thanks.
Just played the game, its spoken dialog some times stutters and repeats its self. Plus there are semi regular lag spikes in the game. I checked its not my new PC
"Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."
There is still 75% free memory. And video memory too. Neither the swap file nor anything helps. I will wait for better optimization and resource usage.
And I do not blame the game, but write about its problems in the bugs section.
Graphics:
Nvidia® GeForce™ RTX 1660 6 GB VRAM or
AMD® Radeon™ 5700 XT 6 GB VRAM
So, whilst you have sufficient VRAM, a 1080 GPU is clearly going to struggle as you have discovered.
