Lost save data!?!?!??

If your game is still open go to https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=2457540 download the files here and plop them into your folder with the proper names. replace them & don't let steam cloud overwrite them.

Yep, played last night, quit from the in game menus, opened it today and it only showed the option for new game and quit. Tried a bunch of different things but its all just gone.

Follow the first comment, or just google steam cloud backup.
