Please report steam deck compatability
DD1 was only compatible through proton, but still had a bug with text box entry. Hoping someone can check pretty quick and report back if it works without proton, or if it still needs proton, is the text entry bug still there.

You're playing on default in game mode? I can't get it to run on that or any of the protons. Anything else You're doing?

Please share whatever settings you have done to make it work
Reported this to proton.db, hope they can give a fix quick before I leave for a long travel tomorrow :(

I was able to get it running on desktop mode. I changed it to proton experimental in compatibility options and then kept attempting to run it until it eventually got in (took a couple crashes before it worked). There's a bug in the game where you can't see cards like the first one, but the fix is the same. In general under launch options, type PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Can confirm changing compatabilities work now (with the added launch option added).

Using ProtonGE 9-23.

Weird how I did all of this last night and it didn't work, yet now it works (tested a few min. ago).

Game start with default options but I can’t see cards. When I add the proton_use_wined3d=1 %command% the game keep crashing on launch regardless of the proton version I use in compatibility mode

Sucks keyboard still doesn’t work.

I was able to launch in desktop mode with this command and everything but the keyboard works. For some reason the command causes the game to crash while in game mode.

Same issue with DD1 so I had to plug in a keyboard to type and not use the Steam Deck's inbuilt keyboard in order to type names in the filter/naming decks.

Can plug in keyboard to write just like DD1
Started the game on the steam deck from gaming mode. It starts up as a tiny and you can’t really see but after selecting the language it asks about the screen view and after selecting full screen and hitting accept a few times it looks fine. I did not use any additional comparability settings. The only issue I have seen is similar to the first one it doesn’t display the cards. You need to use the zoom in display (press the Y button). This shows the card info as a pop up on the left side. Still can’t see the cards on the field without going over them but it works enough to play the game.
