Anyone know of a walkthrough? I am stuck on a part....

I watched the videos "Flashback (HD Remake) Walkthrough" on YouTube, and strangely enough, I am stuck on a part that they seemed to have skipped in-between parts 5 and 6.

I am on the part where you are trying to raise 1500 credits to buy a fake ID to get on that game show. Currently I am on the last mission, the one that says "Eliminate The Mutants (Europa Station)", and I am stuck on the bottom of one of the hallways, where there is a wide blue energy beam on the floor that opens a door on the cieling, but as soon as you move away from the beam the door closes. I have absolutely no idea what the hell I am supposed to do.

Nevermind, got it.

You had to throw a stone so that it landed exactly in there, not just go through it (which is what I was doing).

I wish I would have known that specific way was needed a long time ago. Ugh.

If I ask a question like that, I always come back and post how I fixed it, just in case someone else has the same problem. It drives me nuts when you google your problem and find someone that said "ok, I fixed it" but didn't say HOW they fixed it! lol

Heh, I was stuck at this place too, even if just for a few seconds as I remembered there were a bunch of these "put the stone at the right place" puzzles in the original. But thought that new players to Flashback will not quite get it as it's not really explained anywhere in the game. Nice to see I'm not wrong :P

You don't need to throw the stone at the energy beam either, if you crouch at the energy beam spot you can easily just drop it using the throw button.
