Bug in Shatterscarp Quest [SPOILER ALERT]

In "Fires in the Mine", you can choose to let Darle blow up the mine but in my playthrough the mine didn't blow up when I left it. In fact I was able to complete the quest and even return back to the mine to find Darle still in there working on setting up the charges
