[quest bug] Wardens Warding. Amalia does not give you the Outcast Chest Key

And her voice line: I can give you the key from the chest, but I see that you have already opened it (I can’t open it without a key, lol).

Same thing happened to me during my playthrough. Stole the flags, no violence to outcasts. Amalia mentioned that the chest was already opened, but I did not.

Ya I'm in the same boat. I stole the banners (no killing) she mentions she could give me the armor in the chest but I already opened it. Which I did not.

This is why I am pausing my playthrough of Avowed. I made it to the fourth map/area in the game and I see so many people posting about this problem and I don't want to play anymore until Obsidian fixes this major quest bug, which is a shame because so far I am loving the game with over 50 hours of gameplay.

72 hours of play for the trash? really? I mean the Bug is reported since 26. february and nothing fixed? I got the very same bug and eny and everywhere in the web the players scream that they got the very same bug. That's a big number of players there.

Obsidian please look what you shall do and fix it.
I mean the last patch note is from february 27, thats at least 7 days ago and there are a number of bug callouts here...

Also if it helps you fixing it, the bug seems fix so we can't change it to not appear. I tried anything. I tried and looked if there is a bug where we could open the chest by lockpicking, nope never not one second.

I tried reloading a safepoint before I took this quest, I rushed invisible through each Camp and took both flag, rushed invisible bag, so was never spotted nor did I loot anything else or killed anything.

But the Bug remeains. it seems like it is fix programmed in this quest and thats a real bumper bug.

Just got this one too. Still not fixed. I also have a quest that bugged out on the second area since I guess I didn't do it in the right order.

Didn't even KNOW there was a chest back there but apparently I've opened it while it is clearly closed

patch 1.3.0 : Amalia will now always give you the key to her camp’s chest when speaking with her.
