Still having "Fatal error" crashes
As the title says, I'm still having these weird crashes at random intervals, sometimes I play for 5 minutes, sometimes 2 hours, until I get this crash. I thought after the new patch it would be resolved but it seems its not one of the crashes Obsidian worked on. Anyone still having this problem?

Its DLSS 4. Its broken as fudge.

I used DLSS Swapper to revert the dlls back to 3.8. The 3.10 and up versions are all broken.

They will all crash your driver and restart your PC.

Seems like crashes are way more frequent now in Emerald Stair. Tried swapping DLSS back to 3.8 and reduced all graphic settings. RT and DLSS are both off which helped minimize the occurrence of crashes prior to the latest patch, however this doesn't seem to help at all now.

Well that sucks. I thought this may be the solution to my UE alabama error crashes or whatever it is.

Go back to 566.36. The 572.x drivers are all trash.

working fine with new nvidia drivers, played it for hours tonight with no issues, on gamepass though.... what is your computer specs?graphics/cpu/ram
Also, if you have 13th or 14th gen CPU's especially the i9's you may want to looking at reducing your performance cores to 52. Pain in the ass but I think that may help.

I had to do this on my 14700K to get past the shaders but not that low, 55 worked for me.

Wow 120 baht is a lot for you

I paid $0 for a games pass code or two

Still is annoying I'm having to save every 5 minutes because the one time I forget it will crash to Alabama

54 hr and the only time I got the fatal error crash was when I enabled frame gen to see what the difference would be. It took about 20 min to crash, disabled frame gen and not a single crash since.

A game cannot force a computer restart. That's either a driver or a hardware issue. If you have Intel 13 or 14 series CPU you may need to update your BIOS and make sure current and power draws are limited. Otherwse it could be a RAM or CPU issue.

If your PC is restarting itself it's because it went into protection mode and that's due to something in your system. Voltage issue, PSU, CPU, etc..
