66 GB update?
There seems to have been a 66 GB update while I was at work, why are there no current patch notes, the one on this forum is for the previous patch.
Also has Obsidian given up on this forum because of all the trolling?

how would i know? steam recently changed how downloads are displayed so it shows how much data is patched instead of just the size of the patch, that's why it shows 66gb

Let me assure you, there was NO patches released for Avowed since the one a week ago. I have the game on Game Pass and there is no patch here. I also googled for patch and the last official patch landed on 27th of February 2025.

I'm not saying that there will be no patches today. I'd love a huge update that will fix all the issues with the game. But as of right now no such patch was released. What you are seeing is probably Steam getting a hiccup and deciding to re-download the entire game. I've seen stuff like that happening before.

BTW, any word on Gamepass updates? My version still says 1.2.11.0

Not that I know of. My version also says 1.2.11.0 and I check for updates daily.

Welcome to Steam. Gamepass doesnt do this btw. This isnt the game, this is how Steam does patches.

There was no patch. At the most it was Steam hiccup, downloading the entire game all over again. Happened to me on a few games before.
