I'm not sure what you mean by locked on camera. What do you mean? I've been watching a friend play said and shield and looks pretty chunky in combat and he hasn't had any complaints.
Magic is what i went with and its pretty good to me. I like how you cast spells in the game and there isn't another game that does it this way so it's pretty unique on its own. I just made it to the 2nd zone and I'm still having a blast.
But can you actually aim with the magic or is it like a bow where you're forced to almost perfectly before and make no adjustments?
That CoD part makes no sense though idk what I was thinking, Gonna edit that out.
Yea, we meant the same thing about the camera. Not sure i know what you mean about feeling like it locks in place. Ar3 you talking like in terms of want to strike with melee and turn with momentum on your swings like chivalry? Melee combat doesn't seem that much different than how Skyrim had it albeit you have cooldowns here.
Wands have semi aim assist so they will curve to hit their targets. Spells you have a brief amount of time to aim aoes before they are fired.
Oh god guns? There's no possible way those are even remotely usable if the bows are anything to go off of....
If you're just looking for some very satisfying melee combat (without a tone of depth) I'd recommend it. The rest of the game isn't that great though and the story is like Saints Row. It's at least mechanically solid with okay performance.
