He‘s close enough.
ON the other hand, game play and magic systems - the parts of the game I engage with by far the most - are VASTLY superior in Avowed, compared to Skyrim. VASTLY superior. Combat is weighty and has a good feel. Stamina matters. Magic is diverse and useful in ways that are shockingly good both on their own and in combination with physical combat systems.
So while the 5% of the game - NPC life and the towns - are a tiny bit inferior to Skyrim's terribly under sized, lightly populated little villages, the 95% of both games (game play) is so far superior in Avowed as to make comparison laughable. And while mods help Skyrim's combat, they still do not bring it on par with Avowed.
You did when you responded to the guy glad it wasn’t Skyrim saying you’re glad he’s not everyone .
And yet by saying you’re glad that’s the case you’re identifying your opinion as contrary to his.
