Opening Cinematic Silent

Hi, I played the tutorial two days ago (had a migraine yesterday so held off on further play, don't want to associate the game with pain). Character creation was fine, then the opening cinematic and the introduction of my character were completely silent, only subtitles to tell me what was happening. I didn't get sound again until I was on the beach, at which point everything was fine.

It could be on my end, given that 1) I haven't been able to find anyone else mentioning it as a problem and b) my computer's gone weird with sound lately, insisting on starting up on surround sound when I need stereo (though I now configure my speakers every time to stereo and they were properly configured before I started Avowed and stayed properly configured while playing).

But just in case it's a known problem and there's a fix, I thought I'd bring it up.
