Fact of the matter is the game is not even fit to be called an RPG, it has little to no immersion and is just a terrible game. It deserves not to sell, it deserves to fail, and it deserves the level of concurrent players it has..
The game is dead.. Obsidian is dead, congrats microsoft you managed to destroy two of the better RPG gaming developers - in Bethseda and Obsidian, and EA have managed to destroy BiowEAr.
You want an RPG these days.. pray Larian never ever ever ever ever ever ever gets bought out. At least Sven knows what he is doing with RPG's, because clearly no one else has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue these days.

Owlcat too. The AAA gaming space just seems anathema to RPGs nowadays. Probably because of their huge development costs and investors wanting certain features in every game that don't translate well to RPGs.
As was policy at the time, mention of it was removed from the instruction manual in the Japanese to English translation.
Gaming has always been inclusive. It used to be a refuge for outcasts and looked down on heavily by mainstream society. This extends to tabletop gaming before digital media.
