Avowed

Avowed is literally a downgrade from a 19 year old game.
I love how the comparison for Avowed went from Skyrim to Oblivion. Community realized "Nah Skyrim is too advanced for it, let's go to a few more years back game".

Games today try to hide bad gameplay and poor detail with great graphics.

Games back then tried to hide bad graphics with great gameplay and great attention to detail.

This is just one reason why modern Games suck.

This is the power of the YouTube rage-bait algorithm. A guy makes a video demonstrating that you can knock over pottery and dinnerware in Oblivion and not in Avowed, and thousands of people with oatmeal for brains decide instantly that this is some kind of deal breaker. Avowed has SOME similarities to the Elder Scrolls, but it is not the all-encompassing fantasy life simulator those games attempt to be, nor was it EVER advertised as such.

Again continuing with the soulslike discussion after I dismantled your Avowed vs Oblivion argument.
Yes, soulslike is not about difficulty, but if you seriously say Nioh and Dark Souls have completely different gameplay, you are delulu max 3000.

..do you seriously think nioh and dark souls have the same gameplay? lmao.
Okay, then Sekiro is also not a souls-like.
xD
You really should stop embarassing yourself further. Again no words about the initial topic. You are so delulu and you don't even realize it.
Do you have a fetish of being wrong all the time, just like in the Dragon Age Failguard threads?

It seems like you don't understand what the core of the souls-like genre is.
The essential core of that genre is that you fight enemies and gather some sort of ressources to level your attributes. And when you die, you respawn at the last bonfire you activated (or shrines in Nioh for example) while you lose all of your ressources. Which leaves behind all your ressources to be picked up at your place of death. But with all enemies you killed respawning and making it harder to get your ressources.
That is the core of souls-likes. So yes, Nioh is a souls-like by definition. So is Sekiro and many others that copied that formula.
Maybe you are just confused and mix souls-like to Soulsborne games. Because latter is just by From Software.

the core of souls-like is not dying and restarting.
once again, i am asking you to understand the differences between the games. i've already said the differences -- stances are a huge example -- and again, sekiro isn't a souls-like. it's a soulsgame. it was made by fromsoft.

Anyone who doesn't understand that the core gameplay loop of Dark Souls in baked into the very foundations of Nioh should never talk about games again. Ever.

Sekiro is a soulslike AND a Soulsborne. Wow you really have no understanding of anything.
What is the core of souls-like games then? Please enlighten me! xD

i already told you lol.
Every Soulsborne is a souls-like. But not every Souls-like is a Soulsborne, far from it.

No, you just talked some nonsense about stances and stuff. I already told you what the real core of souls-like games is but you refuse to accept the truth
