I loved Silver Hawks. Those cheesy guitars that shot musical notes have a special place in my heart.

Also good:
Bravestar: Wild West in space Ranger who can call on Animal Totem powers: eyes of the hawk, ears of the wolf, strength of the bear, speed of the puma.

Cities of Gold: Japanese animated English language cartoon about a kid searching for the lost Cities of Gold in conquistador era Southwestern US, in a flying machine with a treasure map. El Dorado meets Sky Atlas :)

For me it was X-Men and Pokémon. I also really loved Ducktales. (I was still very young in the 90s)
