How to transfer GamePass PC Saves to Steam?

In the title - Anyone have any idea if this is a troublesome endeavor?

I'm on PC gamepass, the game is incredible, and I want to buy it on steam and move my save-games over naturally.

Is there an official method here or somewhere?

Avowed uses Xbox cloud saves outside of MS. So you need to connect your Xbox account to your Steam version of Avowed and you can access your cloud saves like that.

Nvm - everyone, apparently GamePass offers cloud-saves across Steam.

All i had to do on Steam version was launch game, and link XBox profile and my saves were auto-loaded instantly onto Steam.

Quick question. Do achievements pop on steam if you move the save over from Xbox to steam?
