As they say, getting people in the door is half the battle.
Honestly, seeing what's on gamepass now...yeah...I'm probably going to cancel overpriced netflix and use gamepass instead. There's at least 6+ months of games to play on there for me.
What do you mean?
And it works. But MS is probably heavily subsidizing devs who take part in the gamepass program because people like me are going to pick gamepass on Obsidian games due to their length and simplistic NPCs.
Not a dig on Obsidian. That's what they do and you either get on board or don't. Also As far as I can tell so far being able to murderhobo the map doesn't really fit the theme since you're a diplomatic representative. My only gripe is guards don't react to hostile NPCs committing crimes but that's probably a decision based on not allowing players to cheese certain content at the expense of immersion.
You pat more for GP then the game over time so actually it's cheaper
Ah, but such a cheap Game Pass deal might turn me INTO a fan... or it might not. I'm treating it as a demo, with an open mind. If it DOES turn me into a fan, I'll buy it.
For my region it costs 2.5x more than BG3
Totally insane. I wanted to buy it but i will never pay that much
