why no romance?
it's rpg game, it needs romance. would have bought it for that alone. at least KCD2 gives us the option.

I agree, this game would have been better with a bit of Romance in it. Even if it was just some flirting and a "They sailed away happily ever after" at the end.
well, that yahtzee may not be the cutest character ever imagined, but she does look quite comfy to snuggle, especially during wintertime. hope she dont make my nose itchy
Probably budgetary restrictions. Talent restrictions as well. Better people than those remaining chose the same approach for New Vegas, and it worked then.
Best answer I got?
Why would you want to romance any of those characters?
You're on the clock, no time for hanky-panky

A (straight) man could be literally bleeding out and our attention would still lock on to a nice pair of uhhuhs or a perfect ahyah.
Patel (game director) said characters were to shallow to implement it.

Not my words, but their words.
I don't care about the romance, but the shallow characters is an issue
Hide the sausage DLC? If there is enough demand for it, it could become a possibility.

Why not having a real girl friend in real life instead ? For me all that romance crap ruin the RPG experience. It is never done well anyway and always seem to be written by a retarded person. Just look at how dumb and superficial romance was in BG3.

Beside that, in those RPG, you are suppose to be the big deal working on saving the world from some big cataclysmic events. Do you think you have the time to engage in any kind of superficial romance ? Maybe it is time for you to put your priorities rights
Because so little effort was put into the game that they didn't want to animate romance animations.
There are no characters in the game with romancing. Ugly and bland.

Not everything needs to be deep
To be fair not every game needs a romance option. They choose not to have it and that is that.
The developers wanted to represent correctly what it´s life for an alt-right, so naturally, every NPC finds any kind of romantic endevour with you a fate worst than being stranded on an island with Kevin SPacey. That´s also why the game it´s so "woke", so you guys have something to complain on every frame, can´t allow that alt-right grift dopamine drop.
