Combat question..what exactly are those 3 yellow arrows when an enemy attacks?

Like the title...I see when an enemy is about to attack these three yellow arrows pop up..usually it's always in a different direction..is it just letting us know the enemy is attacking from the left, etc? I can't find any answers online..

Not sure which arrows you are refering to. I know when I'm sneaking up on enemies there is a arrow or triangle above an enemy that fills up and then turns yellow when they are suspicious I'm around. Turns red when they fully engage in combat.

During combat I have seen red markers indicating enemies on my flanks at times.

It's when an enemy attacks you...I'm pretty sure its just part of the UI

Means incoming attack from off-screen. So you can dodge it and not get molly-whopped by something you never saw.
