Steep jump in difficulty?

So I made it to the 2nd area doing Giatta's quests and the first one about an adaran heart lead me straight into a load if high level mobs that 1 shotted me.

Did i just pick the wrong one of of those 3 side quests to do first or is the game a bit broken?

There is a way of doing that peacefully if you don't kill any of the queen servant but I have tried it yet
That area is kinda hard so you'll need to lvlup a bit before going there, I would do some side quest before rushing into that part
