It is quite satisfying to shoot, hack, shoot and stack up these aoe status effects
Maybe my next playthrough I'll use a pistol/sword combo and shout "For the Imperium!" :p
i heard melee is kinda underpowered so thats the reason i chose mage
im glad that you can respec though. might change my mind later in the game
Yeah, the arquebus with a few of the ranger marskman perks really make you feel like a sniper, eliminating targets before they even see you :)
It helps that there are two good unique pistols you can pick up early on in the first settlement (Paradis).
I'll probably try wands and swords later on, but right now, I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time Kai says "next one's mine" and then...it wasn't.
Poor companions. I need to start saving a few bad guys for them :D
Easy respec-ing is great, and wand + grimoire is a solid combo. Once you figure out the grimoire system, it can be a lot of fun, and switching out books on the fly adds some good options.
Will definitely try this style next respec :)
