A Video Game in 2025

Hey, big fan of games here. Just wanted to give you guys an update. Avowed, not unlike Dragon Age the Veilgaurd, is a video game released in the modern era. So make sure you keep your expectations at the level that 2025 brings. Lets leave those other expectations in the past. leave them somewhere around, oh i don't know March 20th, 2006 or November 11th 2011. Those are unrealistic expectations to have in today's day and age, The Modern Gaming Age.

On another note, another game will be releasing on February 28 of this year and lets just say that after that beta, my expectations are definitely set to Modern.

I remember some devs saying last that games like Baldur’s Gate 3 shouldn’t be ‘expected standard’ or ‘baseline’ for other RPGs. Now we know why: they want to pump out inferior products, charge $70+ for them and blame gamers when they inevitably fail.

i expected nothing and so i wasnt dissapointed. the discussion forum was pretty amusing tho. all in all, a victory for modern gaming

Consumers are 100% to blame, they have the option to purchase or not purchase a game. No one forces you or me, we have the buying power to control the outcome regardless if you and I think if a game is good or not. For f()(.. sakes... there is a 2hr window to get a refund, again another option as consumer. Take it for a test drive as you would if you were to go to a Car Dealership.
