Avowed
16K that’s it. Similar to Veilguard.
After the peak, it will significantly influence the after sales because of the feedback from the first wave players. I saw most of players’ reviews said mid-ish. It’s difficult for players to buy a cartoonish color style mid RPG with boring characters and stories.

Veilguard Budget couple of hundred millions. Avowed budget mb 30 million.
Btw combat is freaking amazing in this game, Just try it. There is nothing out like this at least for mages.
The game is both on Xbox and PC GamePass. It's also on Battlenet.

Also why gamers talk about sales lol

Oh S. My bad. Veilguard’s peak was 90k… It’s a 100% failure confirmed now. Veilguard can’t even make even the production cost…
This game is 70 bucks for 40hrs of gameplay. and looks like Disney made it. maybe when it on sale for 30 or lower I try it or i play it on gamepass if i stop playing poe2. but doubtful.

Been using pistols.
You can get slow mo when you charge shot so you can leap off stuff, aim, slow-mo and fire.
Got me in a John Woo movie here lol

Same as Veilguard too, but still got 90K peak on steam.

30 mil isn't even enough to pay the wages of the people working on it for 4 years..
https://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/Obsidian-Entertainment-Salaries-E151435.htm
125 people working on it..
Even if we take the lowest estimate, it would be 25mil just in cost for people working on the game... but most probably earned more..
And that doesn't include the cost of everything else..
Renting buildings, pc's, electricity, voice actors etc.
50mil seems to be a way more realistic estimate.

But even 25mil they won't reach.

The mental gymnastics when it comes to player count and Gamepass.
Steam, Xbox, Battle.net, and other venues in which you pay for the game itself are all that count.
Gamepass does not because you didn't pay the for game itself, you only got access due to your Gamepass.

It is very unlikely it will beat out Veilguard with its peak at 90k on Steam alone.
They shot themselves in the foot when they decided to move away from the dark and gritty look of the early trailers to the Disney colour pallet it is now, the inclusion of Pronouns, the odd character designs, and primary school level dialogue.
Uhm no, Lameguard has over 70k players on launch on steam, on a weekday. This game just broke 16k. Not even close. It will flop far harder than Lameguard.

Its been estimated that its around 70M-80M budget, game has been in development for 6 years, during that time it was bought by Microsoft and went from an AA to an AAA in that time so this estimate makes sense.
Avowed messed up by telling 90% of it player base before it released it went woke to piss off Elon Musk. One there main devs posted about it a lot.

Do you have ANY evidence to support that number, because o, it just 'makes sense'. Like you understand game budgets. There is no way in hell this game had a budget of 70M, far higher.

The LGBTQ tag is enough for people not to buy it. We all have that filtered out.

No I do not, that is why I said estimated. This was a number that people defending the game threw out but it also makes sense, 6 years development, Microsoft bought them and it went from AA to AAA so i mean ya I can easily see it being 70-80 million. If you are saying no way in hell because its bad look at veilguard, 250M budget and it was trash.
