It would have to review extremely well for me to even consider it and be on a key site for much less than $90.
Honestly worked wonders for Civ 7. it gave more people a chance to jump ship. It's a mining canary, a red flag if you will for sure. No good game needs to pull this crap, consider that.

...yeah, I think Take-Two killed the golden goose on that one. That's gonna take some glowup to get out of.
But people are willing to do it so it is what it is. If it helps fund future Civ games so be it. Dont hate the player, hate the game.
Trust me. They're not hurting for money. What they're hurting for are good games ideas. Have you seen Civ VII's reviews?
Quality work deserves patronage. Shoddy work does not.
