Snarky one-liners isn't new (and isn't inherently a sign of bad writing).
Outerworlds was the same damn thing. Obsidian's writers must think marvel movies are great cinema, or somebody is forcing them to write like this.
Most of the dialog in that game is snark.
So write one that we can all tear down for being terrible.
