News flash, buying up the opposition and “growing” doesn’t equal profit. Especially when you take a studio like obsidian, fill it with racists and then get them to make a game, even though said racists have 0 credentials or have any right to be doing the jobs they are doing. 5 years from now Microsoft will be doing very badly. They are purchasing crumbling studio. It is one thing if they have the leadership to back it up. A proper executive that know a thing or two about game development. They know what formula that is working and which isnt. So they can slap all those fat executive back into shape. But microsoft cant do that.

The latest Diablo 4 season is going to even worse direction. Overwatch is pretty much dead with Marvel Rival laughing on top of their corpse. Hearthstone had been going in decline. Warcraft wow is unbalance mess. Starcraft is dead close to a decade now. I cant say much about their Kings and CoD, i dont play those games. As for Bethesda, Starfield is the trigger for many Bethesda diehard fans. Indiana Jones is said to be a pretty good game but their reputation and recent cultural war just pull that game down completely. Fallout is a golden goose only for Bethesda and Microsoft is so stupid and incompetent that they dont know what to do with it. It is those "games" that Microsoft is trying to push with game pass.

Now you compared it steam games or psn exclusive or nintendo games.... they can tell me if gamepass doing "great". Yeah right... at least make it believable.

Again that 5.9 million number (which is an reaching estimate based on a hodge podge of data) is not an impressive number. Its a very low number. Any suggestion that its successful or they're happy about is gas lighting.
