Hmm thanks for the advice, never even considered that.
I've always wondered why this is, and I think it's because I try to figure out where I need to go based on the map, which is always directionally fixed. So the minimap rotating is very disorienting based on the map I try to have in my mind.
Cheers :)
It's interesting that the game has so many customization/QoL/accessibility/etc options in the game menu, which is awesome, but I looked through the Game options, UI options, and Accessibility options (because in the very least, maybe a spinning mini-map could cause motion sickness? idk) for the one setting to make the mini-map static and thought I was looking past it or something and, nope, it's simply not there. If the ordinal direction indicators were a little more visible, it might not be so bad, or perhaps if there were only one, but I often lose track of the slightly larger North-facing diamond and turn myself around, because in games with mini-maps there usually exists an option to make it spin or static. I'm surprised this option was omitted. I have, indeed, considered turning it off altogether and learning my way around the old fashioned way lol. I played Morrowind, and can manage lol. Good luck OP!
I can use it, however, I would prefer to lock it, I do this for every game that has a mini map and compass. Maybe we will get a patch or MOD.
Why would you 100% explore the areas?
When you do every bounty/quest, you'll most likely find almost everything.
Someone knows this who hasn't played the game before?
I hate this because I also have a need to explore all corners and seeing the fog on the minimap would be nice, same way as other games do it.
But it's kinda the way it naturally works, you can branch off and explore early or wait till a Bounty/Quest leads you near the area.
I'm hoping a mod can maybe fix this asap since its ue5.
I'm not finding that at all, there's a ton of optional exploration
