Still cant complete One Last Drink after patch

Minor quest spoilers ahead


Just finished installing the patch, the quest named above is still not working correctly.
I went to the lighthouse and got the poison and the manual, convinced the crew mate to come back, and I still do not have the option to switch the cups around.
Insult to injury, I still have a dialogue option after the quest that says something like "so you were planning to poison them"

Did you lie about whether the captain was trying to poison them? I think if you lie in order to convince them to join the reunion then it locks you out of being able to switch the drinks. I thought I had to lie to get Ruanga to join so I missed the option to suggest switching drinks, which then locked me out of doing so when I collected the drinks from the bartender upon returning.

Nope.
I picked the resolve dialogue option with the crewmate, and then the next one that said i would swap the drinks.
