Purple Obstacles in Spider Infested Mine?

Apparently a companion ability can clear these purple obstacles. The icon is a circle that looks a like one of those black and white mandalas. Can someone tell me which companion?

You need Kai to use his Firestarter ability OR you can use a Magran's Fury grenade to remove webs.

I've not met either yet, but considering it's a purple obstacle I would say either Giatta or Yatzli? Purple in Eora is generally something soul oriented so you'd need some kind of animancy.

Yes Kai’s ability works for the spider nests. There are at least two other things to destroy - they make musical noise like a cheat is there - but the symbol is unfamiliar.

Yep it was Yatzli. The purple stone is some sort of illusion she can dispel.
