People like diversity (not just characters, also nature, culture, animals, etc) in games, ad long as they are believable in the setting.
Okay. Explain to me why Taash wasn't believable as a character in the setting.
Their main goal is.
Selling hardware (xbox) so they can get more on gamepass (their revenue cash cow) but players are tired of paying to play online, hence why inhouse studios make games fir gamepass (console centric)
MS don't lose anything from porting to PC, but is angry about players not subbing to PC gamepass.
I would not be surprised if they wanted to make win a sub based OS(they will eventually) and maybe include gamepass standard as a deal along.
I am an investor so from that perspective it make good sense, from a PC gamer perspective, it sounds like hell on earth.
But if you can't beat them, join them. Look up investor calls if you wanna learn more
The player is also forced to engage with them and agree.. no player agency like ie in a game like BG3.
Tassh is as hated by the lgbt+ community as Mizhena was.. Taash don't really have a personallity or real motivation, they come off as inmature, dramatic, rude and agressive. Take Claire, she is done right, has personallity and is believable in the setting.
If I wanted to explore modern identity however, I would personallity go for Tell me why, rather than making an entire dark, gritty medieval Fantasy IP be the medium..
You know what they say.....
Read the room
But what do I know... I will take a Barve just to be sure
It is a more delicate process than you think and having multiple projects means you share resources across the board, but might have vital employees stuck on another project... People are people.. they can't be more than one place at a time
I haven't heard any serious backlash against Taash from the LGBTQIA+ community, only from anti-woke whackjobs.
Why doesn't Taash work in the lore? Explain like I'm a child.
Oh, also, you're not "forced to agree". You can shut that whole thing down by just telling her to basically shut up and be a good daughter.
garbage
Everybody in Dragon Age always does. The use common modern slang and vernacular.
The question is why Taash didn't fit in the setting, not "Why does the setting feel so modern despite being medieval"?
bruh just say you never played dragon age before. no need to lie about it
Yes. They absolutely do. I've literally played every Bioware game ever made. I even played Anthem for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake.
