Dude, it's an FPRPG, do you really think it would be possible to implement all the classes and spells of a CRPG?
They chose the most classic ones, if the game is successful, who knows, maybe in a DLC or sequel we won't have more skill trees inspired by other PoE classes
You aren't limited to being a warrior/ranger/wizard.
You can choose skills you want to shape the character you want.
But yes, only a fraction of spells/abilities made it from the PoE games, understandably so, since this isn't a isometric party-based crpg. Half of spells/abilities would flatout not make any sense in a FP ARPG
All games are decisions of what to do with the proposed budget.
Yes. Or at least get close, like Skyrim, as they are owned by MICROSOFT and made NVN2.
Or at least include the ONE setting-iconic class that is also easily the most interesting lore-wise.
Yeah? Like which ones?
genereic? fighter , ranger and wizad classes, all feature the feats, and spells of other classes. have you even seen the wiki? no? then shush
It's absolutely possible to implement. Quit this nonsense. Where there is a will there is a way. It hasn't done so because of laziness/incompetence/streamlining/all of the above.
If modders can pull of some of the unbelievable feats that they have with Skyrim, many of whom are amateurs I hasten to add, then a professional developer should be able to do the same, especially with the backing of a mighty behemoth such as Microsoft....
Edit; And by the way I have repeatedly complained on these forums that Ciphers have been gutted for no good reason. It is a valid criticism.
i wont provide the wiki in case im not loowed to be putting website links . any 3ways good day.
Nothing in game development is black and white, everything needs budget and planning. Avowed is not a 400-person, $250 million budget game like Baldur's Gate 3, it only has 100 developers working on the game.
5 years of development and 400 developers, estimated budget was between 200-250 million
