Orlans look lik orlans

so does the lame ass humans and the ecentric leves.
tf else do you want them to look like?
They're fighting the trend of modern games making characters less attractive. Unfortunately, this game has some unattractive characters, so they jump on the "agenda" train. But I don't see an agenda here, and Giatta is quite obviously an attractive woman, so I dont' see what they're grousing about.
the focus of obsidian has never been atractivness. but actual plot and narrative rich chracters you can actuall give a damn about.
i couldnt give 3 fks about attractive characters i've they have no depth. hell rather see chracter look normal. instead of exaggerated body features, that seem unrealistic for a dark fantasy game focused on the constant plotting of gods, and a few people try9ing to stop the madness.
I don't know man, the first character in the trailer video looks like he's flapping his gums and honking like a seal.
Still don't think this game is woke, though. Guess we'll see.
I'm hoping the game is good but you can't be serious about this lmao. Or maybe you are and Avowed is going to be the only game you've played in the last decade lmao.
That's because they were mostly represented through portraits, it being an oldschool CRPG with mostly simplistic character models.
For what it's worth, Obsidian has never really ever made good looking characters. That's not an excuse, just saying.
And I agree they do look ugly. Alongside the art style the character models in general have been the next biggest point of criticism for the game which imo is completely fair.
Absolutely. And with only four companions, there isn't even any choice.
Aloth and Eder were fine-looking (but both male), and Devil of Caroc gave off magnificent "Metropolis" vibes. Others, agreed, weren't much in the way of appearance.
And just like in Avowed, there was no white human female companion.
